Before you actually buy your invisible wall speakers for your theater room or or living room you first decide what is the proper placement for the wall speakers. If you have a plasma TV setup and mounted on the wall you will want to mount the center speaker underneath it and not above it. This will give you the full effect. You will want next to have the front left and right side speakers about 5-7 feet away from the TV facing in at a 45 degree angle if possible. If they are laying flat on the wall shorten the distance to about 3 feet from the center of the TV on both sides. You than want the back speakers to be set about 5 feet high on the back wall behind where the main theater seating will be. The reason you want to have them higher up than seating level is because it will give you a stronger ambient effect. If possible you will want these to be facing in at a 45 degree angle as well but if the wall does not permit just have the speakers in the same line parallel with the front right and left speakers. Well Circuit City and Best Buy have a lot of over head that people selling on ebay do not have. They probably don’t have the employee over head and the rent over head. I do two things before I make a purchase in a store like this. I first do my research on what I am looking for before I get to the store. I than go to the store with a pen and a small paper. I than ask the person working the floor to see what they have to say. I do this for two reasons. First sometimes the guys in the store can give you some ideas that you have never though of which in turn can save you some money. The other reason why I do this is sometimes they have open items or items in the back room that they can offer you at discounted prices. Now I will not tell you that everything these guys tell you is true or even half true so don’t be naive to the fact but if you can get an idea that helps why not its your money you are going to saving. Once I listen to what the person or salesman has to say I tell if thanks for the help I want to browse around a little. I then take out my pen and small pad and write the brand name, model number, and price of the invisible wall speakers that I am most interested in. I make sure I also right down the correct size of each speaker and color options. I know this sounds a little nerdy but I can tell you and I will show you later how this is going to first cut your cost in half and make you feel a lot better about your purchase in the future.
